As ModernFi CUSO continues to invest in member experience, we are excited to share a series of upgrades rolling out to the ModernFi CUSO Member Portal beginning Wednesday, June 23rd, with additional enhancements following in July.
The enhancements will shortly allow ModernFi CUSO partners to:

Further customize your Member Portal to match your brand, including logos, custom URLs, and colors. This follows ModernFi CUSO’s founding thesis that Extended Insurance Accounts are your credit union’s own product offering.

Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), if desired, for member logins.

In preparation for the future upgrades, on June 23rd, every member at your institution will be migrated onto an improved sign-in experience. All members will receive an email that morning from support@modernfi.com inviting them to reset their password before resuming portal access. If your institution has opted into MFA for your Extended Insurance Account member base, your members will also be prompted to enroll in MFA on first sign-in using either Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) or SMS. To opt into MFA for your members, please reach out to your Regional Director.
To prepare your members for conversion, ModernFi CUSO will send a series of brief communications to account holders ahead of June 23rd outlining what to expect and the actions they will need to take.

Insurance provided through program credit unions (subject to certain conditions). ModernFi, Inc., ModernFi Deposit Services LLC, and ModernFi CUSO LLC are not NCUA-insured credit unions. Deposit insurance covers the failure of an insured credit union, not ModernFi or ModernFi CUSO. Deposits are placed at insured network institutions and are eligible for pass-through insurance up to $250,000 per institution. Certain conditions must be satisfied for pass-through NCUA deposit insurance coverage to apply. A list of participating credit unions appears at modernfi.com/credit-union-list.
