Seamless Reciprocal Transition Drives $85k+ in Annual Cost Savings for First National Bank of Oklahoma
|
“It’s very plug and play. Moving deposits to NBID hasn’t been a hassle on our side. We’re already familiar with the processes, and it’s not a burden on the bank or our staff to change the network. … Any questions we have get answered the same day, every time. … NBID’s really good as it is, and it’s just going to keep getting better.”
Garrett Taylor, VP of Treasury Services, First National Bank of Oklahoma

We're excited to share our newest success story featuring First National Bank of Oklahoma, an independent community bank headquartered in Oklahoma City with over $791 million in total deposits and 109 years of community banking history.
With approximately 30 percent of deposits in deposit networks and accelerated demand following the Silicon Valley Bank collapse, FNBOK began evaluating alternatives to their existing provider. The scale of their reciprocal program made cost optimization a strategic priority. Through their existing FIS Cash Manager integration, transitioning to NBID placed no burden on bank staff, existing workflows, or depositors.
Since joining NBID, FNBOK has transitioned one third of their reciprocal program within 3 months post-integration, with 65 depositors and $83 million in deposits placed in the network. The result: $85k+ in annual cost savings, same-day support, and a product that keeps getting better.
