On Sunday, July 19, we're launching an upgraded Admin Portal for the ModernFi CUSO network. The network was made by credit unions, for credit unions, and these improvements further solidify that Extended Insurance Accounts are your credit union's product.
Credit-Union-Powered, Credit-Union-Branded Products
You will now be able to white-label your members' experience directly from the Admin Portal with your credit union's logo, colors, and custom web address (e.g., yourcu.modernfi.com). Configure these elements starting July 20 and they will take effect as soon as the following week when the updated Member Portal is launched.
Member access will still be possible through accounts.modernfi.com with no changes necessary.
What's New?
- Floating & tiered rates: Configure floating and tiered interest rate schedules for your sweep program directly in the portal.
- A faster, refreshed portal: The portal has been rebuilt from the ground up. You'll find the same screens, tools, and workflows you use today, just faster and more responsive.
- Ability to edit and rearrange table views, and save them to your preferences.
What's Not Changing?
- Your address: You'll continue to access the Admin Portal at portal.modernfi.com.
- Your login: Your existing email, password, and MFA setup carry over. No password reset is required. If your credit union uses SSO, that experience continues uninterrupted.
- Your workflows: Every page and function you use today is preserved.
When Will This Happen?
- Sunday, July 19 (evening): Brief maintenance window while we complete the upgrade
- Monday, July 20: New portal live at portal.modernfi.com
- Week of July 26: Upgraded Member Portal launches (separate communication to follow)

Insurance provided through program credit unions (subject to certain conditions). ModernFi, Inc., ModernFi Deposit Services LLC, and ModernFi CUSO LLC are not NCUA-insured credit unions. Deposit insurance covers the failure of an insured credit union, not ModernFi or ModernFi CUSO. Deposits are placed at insured network institutions and are eligible for pass-through insurance up to $250,000 per institution.
