The setup is light.
“It’s simply an order form, and within two months you’ve got the NBID sweep up and running.”
Brian Weis, Senior Sales Executive, FIS
|

It runs itself.
“We don’t have to manually transfer money to and from our core to the NBID network. You set it and forget it.”
Matt Huber, SVP and Director of Operations, River City Bank

It levels the playing field.
“Expanded FDIC insurance coverage has really leveled the playing field with us when it comes to competing with larger financial institutions.”

As of October 7, 2026. NBID LLC is not a bank. Deposit insurance covers the failure of insured institutions, not NBID. Deposits are placed at FDIC-insured network institutions and are eligible for pass-through insurance up to $250,000 per institution. Certain conditions must be satisfied for “pass-through” FDIC deposit insurance coverage to apply. A list of participating banks appears at https://www.nbid.com/bank-list.
